I am a contemporary sculptor working predominantly in stone.

Transforming this ancient material into dynamic and sensual forms is profoundly empowering and grounding.

It is an unfolding voyage of discovery and realisation.

I work freely, following my intuitive interests in form, and enjoy responding to commissions.

I first trained as a Jeweller at Central St Martins, London. My practice evolved from body adornment to sculpture through working in bronze casting foundries in the U.K, and the USA.

My passion for carving began with wood, wax and snow, but it was the integrity and nobility of stone that stole my heart, It is a material that has allowed me to explore the forms that most inspire me.

Kim is using a grinder to cut her stone. She's covered in dust and is wearing protective clothes.

“Kim has a sensitivity to the medium and creates pieces that demonstrate her understanding of the vitality and sensuality of the natural world.”

I live and work in Stroud, in the Cotswolds.
